Video review: the 2009 Jaguar XF takes today’s ‘wow’ car technology to the next level

It used to be that Jaguar built cars for rich fat men who smoked big cigars and drank straight liquor out of short glasses with lots of ice, but who fancied themselves as the long lost svelte cousins of James Bond.

With the new XF all of that changed when the company engineers designed a car for the next century and not for the year 1950.

They took a little bit of Aston Martin and sprinkled in just a tiny bit of Jaguar to come up with a car packed full of elegance, style, and substance.

But had they gone a bit too far in the technology department?
