Largest bankruptcy in US history explained

General-motors-bankrupt Wow!

So General Motors is bankrupt, out of money, and circling the drain.

You know there will be thousands of words, written and spoken as to why this milestone bankruptcy signifies an end to an era for the American automotive industry. Columnist and talking heads will slice and dice the reasons while tens of thousands of jobs are shed almost overnight.

So why did GM go bankrupt?

I won’t pretend to even know the truth but I’ll wager the video below seems to exemplify the entire mess in a pretty thoughtful manner. And the fact that it is in German is just the cherry on top.
