Video: Michael Schumacher quits the Top Gear Stig job and returns to Formula One

Shumacher It was not all that long ago that the British car show Top Gear revealed that Michael Schumacher was in fact their tame race car driver called the Stig.

But
now the show's producers will have to look for a Stig replacement as
the Formula One champion is returning to the much safer and easier job
of driving 200 mph plus race cars around some of the world's fastest
race car track.

Schumacher will replace Felipe Massa who suffered a freak car crash at the Hungarian
Grand Prix and fractured his skull. Perhaps Massa might be a good
candidate to for the Stig job on Top Gear now that he has some time on
his hands?

Schumacher, just like Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France, had seven F1 titles before retiring.

Ferrari made it official in a statement which says:

"Scuderia
Ferrari Marlboro intends to put Michael Schumacher in Felipe Massa's
car until the Brazilian driver will be able to race again.

Michael
Schumacher said he is ready and, over the next few days, will undertake
a specific training program at the end of which confirmation will be
given of his participation in the championship with effect from the
European Grand Prix on the 23rd of August.
