Do you recall the old Nissan 300ZX V6 twin turbo?
Back in the day it was considered to be one of the fastest and most affordable sports cars you could buy With a stunning 300 horsepower it set a new standard for effortless speed.
So fast forward to today and the Lexus GS 350 AWD comes with a normally aspirated 3.5 liter V6 that pumps out 303 HP.
The thing is that 303 horsepower doesn't seem like all that much anymore when you consider the new Taurus SHO family truckster now comes with 363 HP and all-wheel-drive as well.
What used to be semi-exotic now just seems normal...that is until you put your right foot down and the GS 350 rockets down the road like a startled cat.
Our first driving impressions of the AWD Lexus are summed up in one word: WOW!
This luxury car is crazy fast in a straight line.
300 HP with all-wheel-drive never fails to impress...especially on a wet or slippery road.
