This week at the Detroit Auto Show, General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz had a few strong words for conservative talking heads like Rush Limbaugh and their listeners.
Lutz told reporters (see video below) that if they don't like the fact that the Federal Government owns General Motors, they should go out and buy a Chevy. Lutz finished the statement with an emphatic, "Now!"
Lutz's comment comes on the heels of recommendations by conservative talk-show hosts to not support GM's bailout by the government by refusing to buy General Motors vehicles.
Rush Limbaugh is quoted as saying on his show:
"I said when the Obama administration takes this over, they're going to reject whatever these companies come up with 'cause Obama wants to run them and give them to the unions, essentially, and that's just exactly what has happened here."
