The world of cars that are either partially (hybrid) or completely powered by electricity is exploding.
Almost every significant car manufacturer has announced that they are either in the process of designing, building or selling a car that uses electricity in one way or another as the power source.
Some cars like the Tesla Roadster and the Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S are completely powered by electrons while other cars like the upcoming Chevy Volt and Fisker Karma Sunset use electricity first and than more traditional petroleum to get you around town.
While still other cars, like the Lexus RX450h and of course the Prius, use a combination of both gas and electricity.
But all these cars have one thing in common. They are to one extent or another powered by batteries.
Here are ten cars that use electricity to turn the wheels.
