How the new 2012 Chevy Camaro convertible got its shark fin spoiler antenna

The new Chevy Camaro is on a sales serious roll.

Last year the Chevy Camaro even out sold the Ford Mustang.

GM wants to keep the sales momentum going so that’s why they are introducing the Camaro Convertible as 2012 model in the next few months.

Of course when you chop the top of the current Camaro you also have to relocate the car’s antenna, and early spy photos of the car that showed a rat’s tail antenna sprouting from the trunk didn’t make Camaro enthusiast happy.

So Chevy engineers went back to the drawing board and redesigned the antenna into a much more chic and modern shark fin spoiler antenna.

Check out the video below that shows how the new 2012 Chevy Camaro convertible got its shark fin spoiler antenna.
