Q: What is “Camp Jeep?”

If you’re an off-roading enthusiasts, “Camp Jeep” is not for you. On the other hand, if you’ve never participated in a real off road experience – you’ll dig it. Experts drive you through these obstacles, so you can’t pilot yourself. As you ride, the expert will tell you what the Jeep is doing and how you can do it too. Some of the obstacles are reminiscent of a theme park or video game mixed with real off-roading.  In the past, I’ve heard more than one passenger yelp during a maneuver.

I know, I know – – – it’s not as good as driving yourself. I would agree, except: I sure as hell don’t want some inexperienced punk-ass, teenager wheeling a Jeep for the first time indoors – near people! This is an excellent experience for folks who have never been off road. Even in off-road-centric Colorado – there’s plenty of locals who have never partaken in the bliss of wheelin.’

If, after the ride, you want to test a Jeep – you can sign up in the lobby for a test drive during the auto show (during daylight hours).

There are several automakers who will offer test drives as well.IMG_1655
