What’s the fastest KIA you can buy today?
That seems like a simple question but KIA doesn’t exactly build sports cars.
In fact the fast KIA in the land is one of two KIA cars that share an almost identical 2.0L direct injected turbo.
So what’s the fastest KIA…at least from 0-60 MPH? Is it the all-wheel-drive KIA Sportage Turbo SX or the front-wheel-drive KIA Optima Turbo.
The Optima has a few more horses while the Sportage has a less pounds in curb weight.

Now that Hyundai now owns Kia, is the reliability better? That’s an odd sounding question since I remember the Hyundai Pony that was dumped on the NAmer market. I’m not a fan of the Hyundai interior, but wondering how the Kia interior stacks up?
Current KIAs are much improved in design (interior and exterior), mostly thanks to KIA’s chief designer who came directly from Audi.
