It’s almost impossible to imagine a California beach without a convertible and especially without a VW Bug. Volkswagen appropriately chose the Los Angeles Auto Show to present the world-wide debut the 2013 VW Beetle Convertible. This drop top comes with the same engine lineup as in the Beetle Coupe. You can choose between the 2.5 liter 170hp 5-cylinder, the 200hp turbo four, or the 140 hp TDI turbo diesel. This marks the first time that Volkswagen offered a convertible car in the United States with the modern TDI diesel engine.
