The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S stormed onto the stage at the LA Auto Show.

The newest XF features a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 engine that produces a massive 550 HP and 502 pound-feet of torque.
According to Jaguar the new XFR-S will rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in a mere 4.4 seconds and top out at a top speed of 186 mph which BTW is electronically limited. It is also built for total domination on the bends with a suspension setup that’s akin to a road-racing machine. Still, and despite the overwhelming performance, this is a Jaguar and it is built to pamper the driver and their passengers.

Editor’s note: I love Jaguar. In one glance you can say a lot about yourself to the outside world when you pull up in a Jag. There is an exception, the Jaguar X-Type. This was a vehicle that, while looking like a baby Jaguar, was in actuality a Ford Mondeo. It was an adequate car being used by an exceptional brand. It never worked and I beg you – don’t buy a used one. You’ll never be as cool as an owner of a real Jaguar.
