    The 2013 Mazda3 and the Hyundai Elantra GT are both small economy cars with sporty looks and good fuel economy.

    Both cars have a hatchback for versatile room and both cars are front wheel drive.

    Both cars also come with 4 cylinder engines that sip fuel such luxury options like heated seats and the Mazda even has headlights that steer and blind spot detection.

    But of course, we were immediately curious about which car is the fastest from 0-60 MPH.

    In this TFLcar Mashup performance review we find out if the Mazda or the Elantra has more zoom zoom.

    Editor’s note: Hyundai has come a long way and offers a lot of car for the money. Mazda provides one of the most technically advanced engines in the class. Both vehicles are aimed at the same customer in the same demographic. Why is it then, that both vehicles are so completely different?

    I am referring to overall feel.

    Jump behind the wheel of either car and you will get a completely different driving experience. It’s like these vehicles tell a different tale about the automaker’s intentions. It’s an interesting process and one that reveals the priorities of Mazda and Hyundai.
