2013 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD Colorado Mountain Off-Road Drive & Review

The new 2013 Volvo XC60 T6 with all-wheel-drive is a modern 5 person Crossover that can be purchased with what Volvo calls Instant Traction all-wheel drive.

And while the system is design to provide better traction in the rain, in the snow and even on dirt roads, the Volvo XC60 T6 is not considered to be a hardcore off-road vehicle like for instance a Jeep Wrangler.

But that of course doesn’t mean it can’t go to the end of the paved road and beyond.

In other fun and informative TFLcar off-road review we take the 2013 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD into Colorado’s snowy mountains to see how it does when the road turns rocky, muddy and steep.

Editor’s note: Andre the (angry) Russian Mechanic has been working hard on his video presence. Shakespearean training, voice lessons and verbal elocution have had almost no influence on Andre. He works on a completely different level from other reviewers. You can hear it in his impassioned descriptions, his heart warming observations and his easy to understand oration.

He is, for lack of a better comparison, the Fyodor Dostoevsky of American car reviewers… okay… there is a little bit of Tolstoy in Andre’s work; just a hint, but it’s cerebral you know?

Check out his riveting commentary on the 2013 Volvo XC60!
