The brand new 2014 BMW x5 is the third generation of what the Bavarian Automaker calls its Sports Activity Vehicle.
BMW has just revealed the 3rd generation of the X5 and we’ve got the video of both the car on the road and the X5’s interior design.

The big news?
Buyers will be able to purchase the 2014 X5 in a first time ever rear-wheel drive set-up.
BMW’s all-wheel-drive xDrive will still be available in all forms of the new X5.
The standard engine for the U.S. will be the 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque in the X5 35i now mated to an 8-speed Automatic transmission.
Buyers will also be able to choose a much more powerful twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 or the 2014 BMW xDrive35 diesel.
BMW says the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 (which puts our 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque) will hustle the new 2014 BMW x5 from 0-60 MPG in under 5 seconds.
