Is this the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro?

What you’re looking at is a Camaro concept that is going to be used in 2014’s Transformers 4 movie. Many sources say that this is the pre-production version of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. I am inclined to agree as the first Transformers movie used a pre-production version of the current Chevrolet Camaro. That means, a more aerodynamic, tighter 2016 Chevrolet Camaro may be coming our way.

You can check out other Transformers 4 images (here).

There were some obvious changes externally, not the least of which is the nose and headlights. Looking at the profile, it’s easy to see some changes to the rear quarter as well. The roof is still low and the outward vision looks to be just as scant as before. It’s still a handsome car with oodles of personality.

Chris Doane Automotive at Camaro5.com snagged a spy photo of the rear end during a shoot of Transformers 4.

The rear end of this 2016 Chevrolet Camaro concept looks a little bit more 1970s and less busy than the current model. It’s hard to tell if its any wider, (I don’t think so) or if Chevrolet increased the size of the trunk (I doubt it). The color of this movie car looks more orange than the press photo – which is curious.

Yes, there was another Bumble Bee photo that was released via Michael Bay’s official website many weeks back that looked like a highly modified first generation Camaro. I’m guessing that, like the first Transformers movie, Bumble Bee changes from one to the other. Or, maybe it’s an evil Bumble Bee. Maybe it’s his long lost cousin, “African Killer Bumble Bee.” I’m not one for guessing at movies.

They both look badass.
