For 2014, the world gets Pirelli’s 50th Anniversary calendar. Oh the joy! Every year, Pirelli puts out an outstanding calendar for its top clients. Usually, these calendars consist of lovely models with exquisite photography bringing them to life. At times, these photos are racy while others are a tad underwhelming (last year’s Pirelli calendar was kind of boring despite being shot in Rio).

This is only a taste of what Pirelli has in store for many of their happy clients. The full contents of these calendars are rarely put on display for exclusivity. What tidbits are on display represent a mere fraction of the beauty within.

This group of photos is graced by modeling royalty, both current and models who have been on past shoots.

Pirelli’s 50th Anniversary calendar has some outstanding beauties. Pirelli has had an amazing lineup of models in the past like: Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Helena Christensen, Alek Wek, Karolina Kurkova, and Isabeli Fontana – to name a few. Top photographer Peter Lindbergh shot exteriors on a beach near New York City while Patrick Demarchelier made portraits in a New York studio.

The look of Pirelli’s 50th Anniversary calendar looks refined, elegant with a hint of whimsy.

Here’s an interesting tidbit (thank you Yahoo Shine) Robert Freeman, the Beatles photographer, was commissioned to shoot the very first Pirelli Calendar in 1964.
