Off-road Review of RAV4 vs Forester

The current generation Toyota RAV4 and Subaru Forester share an unfortunate similarity: both crossovers faced performance changes for the 2013 model year.

Toyota removed the RAV4’s V6 option, and Subaru replaced the Forester’s automatic transmission with a CVT. Both choices improved fuel efficiency, but shifted performance to the back burner.

If you aren’t in the market for efficiency, the 2011 versions of these popular crossovers may be more suitable for you.
