The 2015 Subaru WRX arrived today at the 2013 LA Auto Show. This four door sedan not only looks better than in previous years, it offers better performance and fuel economy than its predecessors as well.
The WRX comes to us with a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo-charged and direct injected BOXER engine, good for 268 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 258 lb/ft of torque, available between 2,000 and 5,200 rpm. A new 6 speed manual transmission is standard, scooting you to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds. You can also opt for a new Sport Lineartronic CVT. This CVT will feature a 6 and 8 speed manual shift modes, but 60 mph comes in at a slower 5.9 seconds. EPA fuel ratings are 21 MPG in the city, 28 MPG out on the highway with the manual transmission. The CVT turns in a lower 19/25 MPG.
