Dodge debuts a special edition of their 2014 Dodge Journey named – the Crossroad. This version will feature unique interior and exterior enhancements to make the Crossroad stand out.

For 2014, Dodge is hoping the Crossroad will continue the sales momentum and outpace last year’s sales, which were the best ever for the Journey. Dodge’s idea to place the Crossroad between the SXT and the Limited will likely pay off.

The special exterior enhancements of the Crossroad are: side-sill cladding in Platinum chrome, skid plate simulating front and rear bumpers, blacked out head and taillight bezels, and matching black 19-inch 5-spoke wheels.

The interior boasts quite a few standard and unique features including: a Uconnect 8.4 color touch-screen infotainment system, black leather seats with grey stitching, simulated graphite trim pieces, power drivers seat, heated mirrors, key less passive system with push button start, and of course the all important illuminated cup holders!

The 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad will retain Journey’s  7-passenger seating option, fold-flat front passenger seat with storage bin along with second-row in floor storage, and reclining second-row with built in child booster seats.

Buyers will have the choice between two engines. The standard motor is the 173-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder mated to an old school 4-speed auto with front wheel drive. On the other hand, the much more fun 3.6-liter 283 horsepower V6 will feature a 6-speed automatic and available AWD.

The Journey Crossroad is an excellent edition to the model lineup. The 4-cylinder model will start at $24,995 (before destination charges) and will be available at the dealerships this spring.
