Chicago: 2015 Nissan Versa Note Gets Sporty

Nissan Versa Note

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show today with two new trim levels that give it new options for a fun, sporty look.

It’s still powered by the same 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder with 109 horsepower that’s in the 2014 Nissan Versa Note which will have you happily driving past the pump with up to 40 MPG highway. Changes this year are purely cosmetic with the addition of the SR and SL trims to a line-up that already had three existing trim options.

Nissan Versa Note Rear

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR is the sportiest of the lot with a revised front fascia that incorporates smokey headlamps and standard fog lights with black and chrome accents. There are also new sider mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The back of the car wasn’t forgotten with a new rear spoiler and special SR badging. The 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR also gets 16″ sort aluminum-alloy wheels with 195/55R16 all-season tires.

Nissan Versa Note Gauges

Step inside and you’ll see a special 370Z-inspired leather-wrapped steering wheel and suede-like fabric seats with orange accents and double stitching. There’s also a redesigned center instrument panel and a triple-dial gauge cluster with floating trip computer.

Your second new trim choice is the 2015 Nissan Versa Note SL which rather than introducing something new, bundles a large list of features found in other trims as standard. These standard features include things like fog lights, the NissanConnect infotainment system with a 5.0-inch color display, RearView Monitor, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth, a USB port, and special SL badging.

Nissan Versa Note Interior

All models of the 2015 Nissan Versa Note come with standard safety features that include dual-stage front supplemental air bags, front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags, roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control System, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System with available Easy-Fill Tire Alert.

Pricing hasn’t been announced yet and will likely be coming closer to the vehicle’s Spring on-sale date.
