2014 Honda Civic Si Pricing And Features Announced

2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe

The 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe goes on sale today with a suggested retail price of $22,790 and will be followed on March 26th by the Si Sedan at $22,990.

Updated for the new year with sportier styling, the 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe now rides on 18″ performance-styled alloy wheels. The more aggressive style includes an updated hood, front fenders, and headlights as well as some Si-exclusives. These include a special grille and lower front-bumper garnish and rear air diffuser, and a large wing spoiler.

The interior also gets Si-exclusive treatments. There’s seat fabric and trim finished with a black and red color scheme and an audio panel with a high tech, race-inspired carbon fiber-style design.

The exhaust system has been tweaked on both the Coupe and Sedan to eke out an additional 4 horsepower and 4 lb-ft of torque giving the 2014 Honda Civic Si a total of 205 horsepower with 174 lb-ft of torque. This comes from a 2.4-liter i-VTEC DOHC 16-valve engine with a close-ratio, 6-speed manual transmission.

In order to increase sport handling, the suspension has been improved with higher rate springs, new dampers and a stiffer rear stabilizer bar. There’s also an updated infotainment system to make the drive even more fun.

A 7″ touchscreen is standard with a smartphone-like interface that allows swipes and taps to move through features like audio, phone, and navigation. It will also feature Honda’s next generation of HondaLink.

Two trim levels of standard and Navi, both with summer tire options, will be available for the 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe while the sedan will only be available in the standard trim.
