The 2015 Jaguar F-Type starred in a villain-filled ad during the Super Bowl that pondered why we Americans are so fond of having British guys play our villains. It featured British actors Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin) and Mark Strong (Sinestro) all waxing poetic about being villains and the glories of the 2015 Jaguar F-Type.
Now there’s a second installment in the series and it features just Tom Hiddleston and he will have you convinced that you must have a 2015 Jaguar F-Type before the ad has even ended. It features Hiddleston driving around, revving that glorious engine in a parking garage where it just sounds amazing, and being cooler than the rest of us.
He also takes out another lesser sports car with a carefully placed bomb-gadget. Why? Because he’s a sexy British villain in a bespoke suit with minions and a 2015 Jaguar F-Type. This add doesn’t just make you want to buy a car, it makes you want to pursue a life of villainy. I wonder if Jaguar considered the possible legal implications before they started this ad campaign?
