Check out the Jeep Wrangler MOJO Concept and the Jeep Cherokee Dakar Concept

Jeep Cherokee Dakar
The Jeep Wrangler MOJO Concept and the Jeep Cherokee Dakar Concept are slated to debut at the 2014 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT. At least four additional concepts will join the Jeep Wrangler MOJO Concept and the Jeep Cherokee Dakar Concept April 12th – 20th. Best of all, Roman and Nathan will be covering the event too.

Jeep is one of the few automakers that actually allow journalists wheel-time with their concepts and prototypes they bring, every year, to the Easter Jeep Safari. Some of the past concepts have been far too radical to produce while others were in near production trim. Jeep does this for a number of reasons: they are testing outside reactions to their modifications, they want to create a buzz, they have a friggin’ fun time bashing their creations and it keeps their design chops honed.

Jeep Wrangelr Mojo
Some of the more extreme creations may have a bumper, suspension or other component that might find its way to a Mopar catalog in the near future.

The Jeep Wrangler MOJO Concept and the Jeep Cherokee Dakar Concept look like their are more extreme versions of their base platforms – especially the Jeep Cherokee Dakar Concept. Funny thing, the Dakar is something Jeep isn’t very involved with. I wonder if this is a hint?

The the Jeep Wrangler MOJO Concept and the Jeep Cherokee Dakar Concept are just the beginning. Stay tuned for many other vehicles leading up to the 2014 Easter Jeep Safari!
