Scat Pack Upgrade Details For Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger Revealed

Dodge Scat Pack

Scat Pack upgrade plans were announced for the Dodge Charger, Challenger, and Dart back at SEMA last November and now Dodge has gone ahead and given us the details on just exactly what those upgrades will include.

Whatever they have planned for the Dodge Dart is still under wraps, but there will be three different Scat Pack upgrades for the 2014 Dodge Challenger and 2014 Dodge Charger R/T. Each pack needs to be purchased and added in order, giving owners the option to gradually upgrade their cars and spread out the cost. As long as the kits are installed by an authorized dealer, the original factor warranties on the vehicles will be maintained.

Scat Pack 1 boosts engine output by up to 18 horsepower and 18 lb-ft of torque and includes a Mopar cold-air intake to increase engine air-flow, Mopar cat-back exhaust to free up downstream airflow, and an all-new performance calibrated engine controller optimized for the 5.7-liter Hemi. Pricing for this pack is $2,195.

Scat Pack 2 boosts the output of that 5.7-liter Hemi with additional performance calibration specific to this pack and features a new Mopar performance camshaft at a cost of $1,895. It all tops out with Scat Pack 3 for $4,995 which takes the engine up by as much as 58 horsepower and 47 lb-ft of torque. There is performance calibration designed for this pack as well with Mopar performance CNC-ported cylinder heads and Mopar hi-flow headers.

All three Scat Packs will be available beginning this Spring.
