The All-American Road Trip In a 1958 Buick Roadmaster [Video]

1958 Buick Roadmaster

TFLclassics is following this beautifully restored 1958 Buick Roadmaster as it makes the trip from Denver, Colorado to the Sloan Longway museum in Flint, Michigan. Barbara Herbel-Hendricks donated the car that her late husband Ed Hendricks spent nearly five years restoring and fulfilled his vision of having the car on display in the museum.

Sloan Longway and Buick organized this All-American trip as an homage to the age in which the vehicle was built, taking the roads, eating in the restaurants, and staying at the hotels and motels that were around back in 1958. TFLclassics went along for a ride on historic Route 66.

Nicole Wakelin fell in love with cars as a teenager when she got to go for a ride in a Ferrari. It was red and it was fast and that was all that mattered. Game over. She considers things a bit more carefully now, but still has a weakness for fast, beautiful cars. Nicole also writes for NerdApproved and GeekMom.
