Ford unveiled the 2015 Mustang last December at launch events around the world. For 2015, Ford completely redesigned the vehicle to give it a new look consistent with the design of other Ford vehicles, but using some iconic Mustang shapes. This includes the fastback coupe design, tri-bar LED running lights, and signature LED sequential tail lights.

Inside, Ford’s designers looked at an airplane cockpit for inspiration. Some options, like the Recaro seats found in the previous Mustang, can be carried over to the new one. New design features include toggle switches for many of the car’s functions, push-button start, and air conditioned seats (on non-Recaro versions).
