This European vehicle is special and hard to find in the United States. No, it’s not a tiny Chevrolet Covair – that’s the only clue you get!

… I’ll be nice. Here are a few additional clues:

This vehicle was built from 1963 to 1973 and, I believe, this model had the most powerful of the brand’s 1177 cc air-cooled OHV Inline-four cylinder. Yep, it’s rear-engined, rear-drive, air-cooled and it’s NOT a Tatra (or that other air cooled car from VW).

The European vehicle here represents a small group of air cooled vehicles that proved a solid and reliable ride that can be very sporty. This one is a race/rally version, so its up to you to imagine it without wheel flares. I think it looks slick and unique.

So, what do you think? Do you know what this European vehicle is? Let us know below!
