2015 Honda CR-V

Honda is taking a clinical approach to reveal the updated 2015 Honda CR-V. What you see here is a nice shot of the new face for America’s number one selling small crossover. This is the only image that Honda has officially revealed at this point.

The CR-V gets a more upscale look with the chrome grille element is smoothly integrated into the LED running lights. The new wheel design is both stylish and hints at potentially more fuel-efficient running gear within. Could the face-lifted CR-V get a hybrid drivetrain?

Honda says “unique Honda style portends the significant enhancements made to the 2015 CR-V” as part of the two-sentence press release. One of the shortest press releases in recent memory. A hybrid drivetrain would surely be significant and most welcome by consumers. Honda’s latest hybrid technology, showcased in the 2014 Accord, is one of the best.

Honda also says that the 2015 Honda CR-V will go on sale October 1, 2014, and all the information will be revealed on September 30, 2014. This does not give much time for us to evaluate the new crossover, but you should be able to test-drive it in October.

We hope to get into the 2015 CR-V and tell you all about it soon. In the meantime, here is a four-way comparison including the 2014 Honda CR-V.
