The 2015 VW Passat was designed with one thing in mind: Competing in the crowded american full-size-sedan segment.  Many good cars fit that bill such as the 2015 Toyota Camry, 2015 Honda Accord and 2015 Nissan Altima.  Competition is stiff, and all of the aforementioned cars (and more) offer not only style, economy and amenities, but also a degree of driver involvement.

VW therefore had its work cut out with the 2015 Volkswagen Passat, but is it enough to blow away the other big players?  Watch Nathan’s video review below to find out:

Though the 2015 VW Passat’s styling has become a bit dated, it’s what’s underneath that counts.  In that regard, our test car’s standard 1.8-L turbocharged four-cylinder engine is a more than willing companion.  With minimal turbo lag, a flexible power band and excellent economy, it’s certainly the little engine that could (and did).

Nearly sixteen cubic feet of trunk space augment an already cavernous rear seat, making the 2015 VW Passat a perfect car for families.  Front seats barely need to be adjusted in order to allow for a child seat to fit in the rear quarters.

Nicely equipped, extraordinarily roomy, and reasonably powerful and engaging, the 2015 VW Passat remains a top choice for those who desire a bit of spice in their daily commute.
