The all-new 2016 Audi Q7 and refreshed 2016 Audi Q3 have made their debut this morning at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS 2015).  Looking longer, sleeker, and lower than its predecessor, the 2016 Audi Q7 is the first vehicle to use Audi’s second-generation modular longitudinal platform.

The newest Audi Q3 features an updated turbocharged four-cylinder engine for the new Q3 offers more power, greater efficiency, and 17 percent lower CO2 emissions.

Variations of the 2016 Audi Q7 will include a 3.0-L TDI plug-in diesel-hybrid powertrain which will feature standard Quattro all-wheel drive.  In addition, the new Q7 will be more than 716 pounds lighter than the previous version.  That’s a tremendous weight savings which, along with a drag coefficient of Cd 0.32, contributes to heightened efficiency.
