This year’s Geneva Motor Show is jam-packed with some of the hottest and fastest new sports cars, hyper cars, and even mega cars. There are nearly 40 new car introductions at this year’s show. Manufacturers from around the world are bringing their latest, best, fastest, most luxurious, and most expensive machinery.
There are odd concepts like the Aston Martin DBX and Lexus LF-SA. There are fastest production cars from respective manufacturers: 2016 Audi R8 and the 2015 Lamborghini Avendator SV. There are utilitarian compact crossovers like the Hyundai Tucson and Mazda CX-3. It also has a fair share of hot hatches: 2016 Ford Focus RS and 2016 Honda Civic Type R.
BMW Alpina is at Geneva in full force. The in-house BMW tuner brought the BMW Alpina B5 Edition 50 (biturbo version of the 5-series) and Alpina XD3 (turbodiesel version of the X3).
There you will also find two latest turbocharged mid-engine super cars: the Ferrari 488 GTB and McLaren 675LT. The Ferrari packs 661 horsepower from 3.9-liters of turbo V8. The McLaren is going more evil with 666 horses from 3.8-liter turbo V8. Is there a chance these two are competing against one another? (joke).
