2015 Buick Regal GS AWD

The 2015 Buick Regal GS has lofty aspirations and is ridiculously quick. With plenty of luxury features and a high performance turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, this unassuming sedan from GM’s Germany-based Open brand is possibly a worthy competitor to the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Cadillac ATS, and Acura TLX.

The 2015 Regal sedan uses design cues, inside and out, that distinguish the GS from other Regal models. Starting with a slightly lower ride high, the Regal GS wears unique body-colored front and rear fascias, with the front grille featuring prominent, vertical air intakes slots accented in a satin-metallic finish. The rear bumper has a pair of integrated trapezoidal exhaust pipes that are also finished in satin-metallic. Body color rocker panels, rear spoiler, and unique GS decklid badging complete the look.

Power for the Regal GS is set forth by GM’s Ecotec 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic transmission that sends 259 horsepower and 295 lb-ft torque to the wheels. A 6-speed manual gearbox is an available option for the front-wheel drive Regal GS model.

Choose the all-wheel drive (AWD) version of the Regal GS and you get an advanced Haldex AWD system that gives the most traction in all driving conditions. Drive the Regal GS with the Interactive Drive Control System turned on and the cornering capability is further enhanced.
