It seems like only yesterday the fully redesigned 2013 Ford Escape came to market. However, the 2016 model year Escape is already here, and the industry dictates that a face-lifted version is needed to keep it fresh and relevant. This prototype appears to the be answer, as the refreshed 2017 Ford Escape.
The headlights appear very similar to those of the current Escape with the LED running lights. The design of the tail-lights looks to be different. This prototype still has the dual exhaust outlets. It’s likely that a lineup of EcoBoost engines is still in store for this compact crossover.
Will Ford be able to downsize the engine to the three-cylinder 1.0-liter EcoBoost for the Escape? We will have to wait and see.
