Motor Mountain USA: Wyoming – Land of High Adventure [Video]

Motor Mountain USA – Wyoming

For this week’s edition of Motor Mountain USA, Nathan Adlen and Andre Smirnov are driving to the highest point in Wyoming.

The Wyoming mountain top is the top of the treacherous and most scenic Beartooth Pass. The elevation registers at 10,947 feet above sea level. Finding this spot was easy, but getting to it was a whole other story. The pass generally opens for the season on Memorial day, but mother nature had other plans. Heavy snows had the highway crew working overtime to clear the 6-foot (or more) snow drifts. TFL team was on pins and needles, watching the weather and highway closure reports. The pass opened the evening before we got there!

The Motor Mountain USA (#MMUSA or #MotorMountainUSA) epic road trip is about the adventure and learning the mountain tops across the United States.

Motor Mountain USA is a celebration of all things American and the road less traveled. Nathan, Roman, Andre and Emme are driving a 2015 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler Hard Rock across the country to visit the 50 highest drivable mountain tops in all 50 states. Along the way, they will visit locations off the beaten path and the American attractions that make the United States one of the world’s top tourist destinations.

This trip is also about involving you in the adventure. TFLcar has commissioned 50 commemorative silver belt buckles, one for each state. We will leave a belt buckle somewhere in the state and will tell you the coordinates, so that you can find it. The first person to find it, keeps it. The only requirement is – you need to send us a picture of you with the belt buckle. You can tweet to us @TFLcar, Facebook us at TFLcar, use the #MMUSA, or #MotorMountainUSA hashtag, email roman@tflcar.com, or all of the above.
