2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO Review: More Show Than Go? [Video]

Is the new 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO as sporty as it should be?

TFL’s Andre Smirnov found out recently after testing driving the new Sentra NISMO and finding out what it all can do.

The Sentra NISMO will start just under $25,000 with one option that including such features as navigation putting it over the $25,000 mark.

But buyers will get a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces 188 horsepower. The Sentra NISMO also is sportier than the average Sentra with the chassis, steering, tires and other features revamped to give it more of a sporty look and feel.

Nissan officials call the new Sentra more balanced with its sport additions, but explained that the new NISMO version also will appeal to those looking to get into the entry-level sporty car market.

While test driving the car, Andre noticed how quick the engine revs up, and how well it drove on the roads.

The new Sentra NISMO will be available starting in January.
