Nissan has shown us that they are capable of making some seriously fast cars. The GTR hits 60 MPH in under 3 seconds, blasting the doors off of many of the worlds best supercars. So, have they been able to translate that type of performance into the 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo? Well they have certainly cranked a decent amount of power out of the 1.6L four-cylinder turbo engine. In total, the little motor makes 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, all of which powers the front wheels.
Roman had a chance to fly to Georgia and review this car when it was released, and his first impressions were pretty good. However, that was down near sea level. Up here at altitude the car may have a bit more trouble getting up to speed. In order to find out how long the 0-60 sprint takes up here, we handed the car to our own Andre Smirnov.
The verdict? Well, it certainly wont be racing any GTRs in the near future, but the car did put up a respectable time given its engine size and the fact that we are up here at altitude. To find out how fast it was, be sure to watch the full video above.
