I do still love the show. Something about the trio cannot be replaced and the way they conduct themselves on TV makes for some excellent watching. Given some more time to develop the show, this will become just as much of a classic as the old show was. Hopefully they lose the script a bit more. Regardless, I will still watch every episode religiously.
To answer my original question: Yes, it is good, but I wish it were better.
