TFL Spy Photo Challenge: Help us Identify this Car! [Spy Photos]

As many of you are well aware, we love to go looking for test cars while the manufacturer has not quite released the car to the public. Often times, this means the car is covered in the typical ‘spy photo’ cladding and special white and black camouflage designed to make the lines of the car harder to see. Sometimes, or audience even sends us some pictures which is exactly what happened today. However, we can usually discern somewhat well what the car is. Today that is not the case, so we present the TFL Spy Photo Challenge!

These photos came in from Thomas Cooke, who spotted what he believes to be a Ford prototype vehicle driving around near Toledo, OH. Do you know what new car this could be? We thought we would open the TFL Spy Photo Challenge to you, our audience, to try and figure out what vehicle may be underneath all that camo.

I personally agree with Thomas. The tail lights and window shape seem to resemble that of a Ford Escape, but perhaps on a bigger body. However, Ford just released the newly face-lifted Escape so I don’t think that this is a new Escape. My guess is that it is maybe a new Ford crossover, where the design has been tweaked slightly to fit more closely with the Escape’s design language.

Please feel free to drop a comment below and tell us what you think it is!

Ford recently updated the look of another one of their cars, the 2018 Ford Mustang, to find out everything you ever wanted to know about that car, be sure to watch the video below:
