2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe: Buddy Review [Video]

Mercedes-Benz was kind enough to fly Roman out to beautiful Whistler, Canada to drive the all-new 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe. On this drive, Roman is joined by his friend and fellow automotive journalist Nick Miles to review the new E-Class Coupe.

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe comes with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain helps the E400 scoot to 60 MPH in 5.2 seconds, according to Mercedes.

The latest E-Class comes packed with technology. One of its many technological feats is its ability to talk with other E-Class cars. The cars computer can collect driving telemetry and send it to other vehicles should it encounter anything that could help other drivers. For example, if the car detects that ABS has been used due to icy conditions on the road, it can save that information and send it to other E-Class’ to alert drivers to the possibility of ice on the road. This technology also has some implications for driverless cars, as they will all need to talk to one another in order to coordinate traffic patterns.

To see what other interesting technology comes on the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe, and to see what Roman and Nick thought of the luxury coupe, be sure to watch the full video.

The E400 Coupe will be available at dealerships later this summer.
