Volkswagen’s stylish CC – slotted above the Passat – is the brand’s lowest-selling model. It’s figures have been falling in recent years, so the time has come to change course, as evidenced by the decision to ax the CC. The Passat outsells this model by nearly 40-to-1, so it’s safe to assume the car’s passage won’t make too many waves. However, if you are mourning the passage of VW’s swoopy alternative to the Passat, don’t despair. For 2018, the Arteon will roll onto the scene to replace the outgoing CC.
