So Long, Farewell: 2017’s Discontinued Cars

2017's Discontinued Cars: Mitsubishi iMiEV
2014 Mitsubishi iMiEV

Like the B-Class Electric Drive, the iMiEV is also going away, but for slightly different reasons. Mitsubishi’s electric offering is more affordable than the Mercedes – as expected – but its range is even worse, at just 59 miles. That means the iMiEV is confined to the cities, and that gives thousands of people the chance to gaze upon the car’s contentious styling. Add to the styling quirks underwhelming performance and features, and the iMiEV struggles to win out against its rivals. You get what you pay for, and the iMiEV certainly isn’t terrible. It just didn’t win enough people’s hearts to warrant Mitsubishi keeping it in production.
