2017's Discontinued Cars: Infiniti QX70
2015 Infiniti QX70

The Infiniti FX bucked the boxy SUV trend of the 90s and early 2000s with its softer, curvier styling. 2013 brought about a name change for the model to QX70, aligning it with the rest of Infiniti’s SUV nomenclature. Despite its snazzy looks and brawny 325 horsepower, 3.7-liter V6 engine, sales have slumped in recent years. As a result, the automaker has discontinued its 14-year-old model to focus on its other crossovers. Instead of conjuring up a replacement, Infiniti will redirect its marketing efforts on a redesigned QX50, for which sales have meandered since its introduction.
