We Americans have clamored for a Civic Type R for many moons, and Honda has finally listened. Enter the 2017 Civic Type R, the most bonkers version of an otherwise sensible hatchback. Sure, it “only” has 306 horsepower, and sure it’s “only” front-wheel drive. Its competitors, by contrast, are all-wheel drive. Despite that, the Civic Type R is still a great car to drive. If you can fit in the car, that is.
