
Read this very carefully: the 2013 Ford Mustang GT500 will have a 650 horsepower (yes – six hundred and fifty friggin’ horsepower) pumped through a supercharged, 5.8 liter V8. It will make 600 lbs-feet of torque and (please sit for this part… it will have a top speed of at least 200 miles per hour!
No, I am not sucking the jungle juice, smoking the reefer or eating happy mushrooms… this is the straight poop from Ford’s management. Many journalists have sat on this information for over a week and have chomped at the bit to get this out there. They even showed us 2013 Mustangs with some nifty updates, but nothing prepared us for the five-minute video presentation showing the test mule scorching the test track. Add to that Carol Shelby trumpeting the next Shelby GT 500 as THE vehicle that will kick the crap out of the competition and you have a room full of car-folk needing a post coitus cigarette.

A new car's success (like the 2012 Ford Focus) is ultimately measured when it hits the showroom floor. Will it selling like hot cakes or will the automaker have to discount the car to get it to out the door?

For 2012 Ford has completely redesigned the Focus. And unlike the old Focus, the new Focus is almost identical to the European car.
Ford says the upcoming American and European cars will be twins in about every respect. The new Focus is certainly European in style and flavor. Ford calls the design language the 2012 Focus uses to style the cars "kenetic".

It's no secret that both Dodge and Chrysler have been kicked around from one owner to another over the last ten years. It's also no secret that both car brands have had issues with quality and "perceived" quality in large part due to the constant revolving door of company ownership.
Chrysler Group design chief Ralph Gilles, as well as CEO of the Dodge brand, says that in 2011 Dodge is working very hard to ,"get the monkey off our shoulder once and for all," when it comes to quality and perceived quality.
He goes on to say that the company is now "laser" focused on the driving dynamics of the cars Dodge sells.

Just think of it as a real minivan...as in a small or "mini" van.
Do you remember the days when minivans were really mini?
Those days are back, and Ford is bringing the popular European C-segment MPV to America.
Currently the only other C-segment MPV sold in the States is the Mazda5, and Mazda sells about 15,000 to 20,000 each year.

The Ford Crown Victoria is one of the most common and revered law-enforcement vehicles produced. It’s rugged, reliable, capable and as old as dirt. There is only so many ways an old car can be updated before the world passes it by.
Fully aware of the shortcomings of the Crown Vic, and the fact it’s going out of production, Ford has diligently worked on a full replacement. Actually – two replacements. What we know as the 2011 Ford Taurus and Ford Explorer, law-enforcement will call them Police Interceptor Sedan and Police Interceptor Utility.
Both vehicles have been rigorously tested and were developed over a 3½-year period specifically for law-enforcement.
