The all new 2012 BMW 650i X-Drive is a true stunner.
The newly redesigned BMW GT is now firm, fit and sexy.
With a 400 HP Twin Turbo V8 the BMW 650i is also fast and fun to drive. But than again a car that can cost as much as $100,000 better be very special.
We recently had the chance to test drive this newest German autobahn burner to see how it stacks up to cars like the Jaguar XK. However when equipped with BMW's all-wheel X-Drive, like our test car, the 2012 650i really has no competition.
Check out this first drive review as we see just how fast the BMW 650i really is at altitude.

The redesigned second-generation BMW X3 is larger and roomier, providing fast acceleration and nearly sports-sedan handling and good utility. There are only minor trim changes for 2012.
This 2011 model is larger and looks much like a “baby” BMW X5. It’s 3.4 inches longer, 1.1 inch wider and half an inch taller than its predecessor. It also has a slightly longer wheelbase and a little more ground clearance. Yet it weighs less than its predecessor.
The $36,750 four-door X3 xDrive 28i model, which I tested, comes with a 3-liter, six-cylinder engine generating 240 horsepower. Although down from the 2010 version’s 260 horsepower, it provides strong acceleration with high revs and should satisfy most X3 buyers.

The new BMW 535i has always been the benchmark for all other mid-sized luxury sedans.
But for 2012 the all new Audi A6 is taking direct aim at the BMW buyer as well as the 535i. The Audi brings to the table a 310 HP supercharged powerplant, an 8 speed automatic transmission and of course Quattro all-wheel-drive.
But to not to be outdone the BMW has all of the same stuff, but instead of a supercharged engine it comes with a turbo 3.0L that puts out 300 HP.
So which one is the better car?

Let's say that you have about $48K and you want to buy a new sporty car with over 300 HP and at least seven gears. You could buy the 2011 Infiniti G37x Coupe, or for the same amount of money you could also buy the 2011 BMW 135i convertible.
So which one do you get?
It really depends. Are you a time-crunched car shopper? Do you have two minutes?
Watch the video review below as we give you the scoop in 1 minute times 2.

The 2011 BMW 135i convertible is the smallest car in BMW's North American line-up.
But you probably already knew that.
The BMW 135i convertible is also one of the most fun cars that BMW builds...and that's saying a lot especially coming from a company that builds a lot of fun cars.
Think of the BMW 135i as the scrappy little mutt of the BMW family. It's completely love-able but just a much for its flaws as for its winning attitude.
Which, when you think about it, makes buying one a very difficult decision.
So to buy or not to buy. Watch the video below and find out.

Let's say that you just inherited $47K from your dear old departed auntie Gertrude.
Instead of putting it into the bank at zero percent interest you decide that dear auntie Gertrude would have wanted to see you happy...very happy.
So you go out to your nearest BMW and Volvo dealership to test drive two identical, yet very different cars.

For every new car in the industry, there is potential for an
automotive journalist (like me) to exploit it via review, story and
photography. This gives the new car buyer an additional tool to use when
deciding and makes the assignment all the more rewarding for the
reviewer. Some cars, like green vehicles, do not warrant over the top
excitement in their background (usually, something representative of
“green” – like a forest, suffices).

BMW introduced the X6 M at the New York Auto Show in April 2009 with a lofty goal. The German manufacturer wanted to offer serious competition in the high-performance crossover segment. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and Mercedes ML63 AMG are leaders in that fraternity, and who’s going dispute the warranted popularity of those vehicles?

Individually, sports cars and convertibles are great. But the extra
weight and loss of rigidity that come with chopping the top have–at
least until now–made the open air M3 a bit of a poseur’s car.
Isaac
tries out the latest version to see if BMW has got it right this time.

The guy next to me in the supermarket parking lot caught my attention and said in a deep European accent: "Is that the BMW diesel? I didn't know you could get it in the States?" He was right — until now. The 2009 335d is BMW's first 50-state-legal diesel. Imagine that — a diesel sports sedan.

Is there a sweeter, sexier BMW? I think NOT!
Okay – I admit
it, I was less than enthusiastic when I heard about BMW’s revamping of
the less-than-loved Z4. The old Z4 represented much of what many
dislike in modern design…ugliness. I could go on and on about what made
the former Z4 not so great, in the end it was a muddled machine
searching for a soul.

Now in its seventh year, the BMW 650i is available as a coupe and convertible. It will likely impress BMW fans and alienate car buyers
who wonder why so much fuss is made about the popular Germany automaker's offerings.
There's no denying the 2010 650i is attractive. It debuted in 2004 and was updated in 2006 and in 2008. The current edition offers smooth body lines not to dissimilar from the look of classic Porsches.

What some consider tawdry – I consider exhilarating.
I
completely admit that I am not a big BMW fan of late. Most of the
reason resides in the company’s new look, infuriating Idrive system and
the mere presence of BMWs in society. They tend to say (nay, yell)
something about the owner.
