Video: Watch Top Gear Season 18 Episode 3 as Jeremy & Richard choreograph a car chase

The BBC car series Top Gear is back again with Season 18 Episode 3.

In this newest episode James gets to test the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring with the help of the Stig.

Meanwhile Jeremy & Richard help choreograph a car chase scene.

In the reasonably priced car Ryan Reynolds shows that he knows a thing or two about going fast around BBC's Top Gear Track.

As a bonus review James May also reviews the new Fiat Panda and comes away more impressed by the small Fiat than the Vauxhall Corsa VXR. His Top Gear conclusion is that you can have more fun in a small car with small tires on the road than any car ever developed on the Nurburgring.

Video: Watch Top Gear Season 18 Episode 2 as Richard drives a NASCAR pace car

The BBC car series Top Gear is back again with Season 18 Episode 2.

In this week's show Richard Hammond travels to Texas in the United States to find out what makes American NASCAR racing such a popular motor sport. In the process he of course gets to drive a Camaro pace car before the big race.

Going to the other end of the word Jeremy and James travel to Beijing, China to check out the crazy state of the Chinese car industry and perhaps best of all they meet Stig's Kung Fu Chinese cousin.

In the Reasonably Priced Car Matt LeBlanc gets a spin around the Top Gear track while the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster also gets tested on the Top Gear Track.

We like both of them for different reasons.

Last year Volkswagen scored a huge YouTube hit with their Star Wars themed Darth Vader Super Bowl commercial.

They did it, in part, by releasing the commercial early online on YouTube.

This year the other car manufactures took notice and of course they have also released their Super Bowl commercials early on YouTube....but not as early as Volkswagen which came out with their new teaser commercial almost a month before the 2012 Superbowl.

Video: Watch Top Gear Season 18 Episode 1 as the boys test the McLaren vs Noble vs Aventador

BBC's Top Gear is back for 2012 and in this Episode 1 of Series 18 Jeremy, Richard and James test the new McLaren MP4-12C, versus a Noble 6000, versus the new Lamborghini Aventador.

They meet up in the Southern Italian town of Nardo, and James brings the McLaren MP4-12C and Richard brings the Noble 6000 while Jeremy shows up in the new Lamborghini Aventador.

In the first Challenge the Top Gear boys head to an oval test track in Italy to see which car is fastest. In other words...they must test the Top Speed of each of these crazy fast supercars.

So which car is the fastest?

Video: Top Gear teases upcoming TV series 18 with a new trailer

On January 29th Top Gear returns to BBC 2 in the U.K. with the first episode of series 18.

But before the boys come back on the TV they've released this trailer for the up coming new season 18 of Top Gear.

If you watch the video below you'll certainly enjoy watching Richard Hammond drive a NASCAR race car. You get to meet Stig's Italian cousin, and Jeremy Clarkson does something very naughty with a Jaguar XF and a camper.

Not to be out done James May is seen piloting an airplane around the Top Gear test track and much much more in this sneak-peek of Series 18.

1983 – It’s Stephen King AND John Carpenter, so it’s ALL good.

What? Were you expecting The Wraith perhaps?

Christine is a 1958 Plymouth Fury – possibly one of the best looking American cars of 1950s I might add.

Christine had two major elements that made it a fantastic car-based horror movie. Stephen King wrote it and John Carpenter directed it. Accurately showing the bond between a high school kid and his car, Christine is more than a slaughter-fest of a people-hating car. There’s real motivation for most of the action and the crux of the film is never lost in the telling.

Top 5 Spooky Car Flicks: #2 The Car

The Car was one of the first horror movies I ever saw. My parents thought it was just another 70’s chase movie and they let me rent it. This was around 1982 as video rentals were becoming all the craze. Of course I had to watch this movie with some friends during a sleepover, late at night with the lights out.

Fortunately, it’s not a particularly good movie.

2003 – More of a thriller chase flick than a full-on horror flick.  

This is a well made, car-based horror flick. Well, it’s more “thriller” than “horror” to be honest. There’s great car action throughout as the protagonist searches out the mutilated evil-doer who uses his Cadillac as his killing tool. The good guy is seeking revenge for the death of his wife at the hands… I mean wheels of the bad guy.

1986 – A silly horror that’s wholesome fun for the whole family.

Okay – I fully admit that this is not the best of Steven King’s horror movies. It is a great movie for folks who shy away from full blown horror movies as there really isn’t that much gore. To be honest, it’s not that scary either.

Still, for those of you who like the idea of evil trucks killing people – this might be your flick.

Top 5 Spooky Car Flicks: #5 Jeepers Creepers

Roman Mica (TFLCar’s lord-master) is a bit too sophisticated to slum it with me when I fire-up the DVD, pull out the pork rinds, load up the beer and watch campy horror movies. With that said, he digs a good car movie as much as the next guy. Here’s my take on the top five.

5) Jeepers Creepers

2001 – A proper horror movie.

Jeepers Creepers is a disturbing flick with one of the most unique antagonists I’ve seen in recent films. I love the hopped-up, wicked looking 1941 Chevrolet COE (it looks like an REO panel van too). It’s fast enough to catch up to AND smash into cars unfortunate enough cross its path. The horn sounds like a banshee’s cry. It’s awesome.

The 2011 Santa Fe Concorso: How much better can It really get for car lovers?
