The newest hybrid Lexus is a technological tour de force. The HS 250h not only drives-by-wire, but can almost drive itself.
Seriously, the driver no longer really drives the car, but instead
just makes suggestions using the steering wheel, accelerator, and brake
pedal, and the car's computers interpret those suggestions into actions.

Many recreational buyers get a Dually pick-up to tow a big boat or pull a big horse trailer. But will a Dually do donuts?
After all it has four fat wheels and tires on the back so you'd think
that it would take a lot of power to bring the back end around in a
full 360 degree donut.
But then again the new Ram 3500 Laramie Crew Cab has a 350 HP
Cummins 6.7 Liter turbo diesel that pumps out an incredible 650 lb. ft.

It's called City Safety and its a new feature on the Volvo XC60.
What does it do?
Basically the system monitors the road ahead of the Volvo using a laser, and under 19 mph it will automatically stop the car if it thinks the XC60 is about to crash into a stopped car in case the driver fails to put on the brakes.
Think of it as if your husband or wife had a brake pedal on the passenger side of the car, and used it because you were too busy texting your friend Steve about the Cubs game to see the stalled blue Civic stopped ahead of you.

Lexus has jumped into the deep end of the hardtop convertible business with the new IS 250C and 350C drop tops.
Both cars are aimed right at the heart of the BMW 3 series hardtop convertible, and here's what Lexus was thinking when it built the car from scratch.
Instead of selling both a two door hardtop coupe, and a two door convertible hardtop like the folks from Munich, why not just offer a two door hardtop convertible and give customers two cars in one?
