Can the new Volvo XC60 with City Safety stop itself in the case of a stalled whale Video?

Volvoxc60

It’s called City Safety and its a new feature on the Volvo XC60.

What does it do?

Basically the system monitors the road ahead of the Volvo using a laser, and under 19 mph it will automatically stop the car if it thinks the XC60 is about to crash into a stopped car in case the driver fails to put on the brakes.

Think of it as if your husband or wife had a brake pedal on the passenger side of the car, and used it because you were too busy texting your friend Steve about the Cubs game to see the stalled blue Civic stopped ahead of you.

But does it work in the case of a stalled whale?
