Is the Smart car tipping craze (tossing them into Dutch canals) the new European Anti-Eco Terrorism?

Smart You go and have a think about the headline for a while, but while you do let's define Smart Car Tipping.

It's sort of like American cow tipping except that it involves a smart car instead of a cow, and a canal or river, instead of a pasture.

Basically roving bands of drunk Dutch kids are picking the ultra light and ultra tiny smart cars in Amsterdam and throwing them into the nearby canals.

At least that what police in the Netherlands suspect is what's happening to all of the Smart cars that have been found suddenly water bound in the country.

As you can imagine this is pretty easy to do as Smart cars can be parked with their back sides to the water since they are so small to fit into a parking space that would not fit a more conventional parallel parked car.

So now we get back to the headline, "Is Smart car tipping the new European Anti-Eco Terrorism?"

In other worlds, are disgruntled voters tossing Smart cars into canals to protest the European "Green" movement and laws?

Somehow we suspect that if it involves lots of beer…probably not.
