You've probably heard the rumors as well.
You have right?
You know…that Bugatti plans on building a 1200 horsepower limited edition Veyron Supersport (certainly not pictured above) that will sell for about 2.5 million USD.
The rumors also suggest that Bugatti will build just 30 examples of the car, and that the Veyron Supersport will be an jaw-dropping 600 pounds (or so) lighter due to increased use of carbon fiber and other lighter materials.
According to carsuk.net the rumor is true because they've just spoken with a soon-to-be owner of the new 1200 horsepower Bugatti Veyron Supersport.
Keep in mind that the current Bugatti Veyron is about 1000 horsepower, making the new Supersport twenty percent more powerful and of course faster.
The following conversation according to Cars UK recently took place with the wealthy and we think lucky owner of the world's fastest (and now even faster) supercar.
“Have you heard about the new 1200bhp Veyron Supersport?” said the
familiar voice. “It’s just the same old rumour, sunshine” we retorted.
“Then why am I about to transfer €400k to Bugatti?” came the reply. So
it’s not a rumour – it’s real.
